The 1800rwhp twin turbo LMR 4th gen Camaro spun the tires off the wheels at the 3/4 mile mark – the driver managed to save the car, keep it on the track and deploy the parachute… It skidded across the 1 mile mark at 215mph.

Hinson Supercars Turbo c6 off the track. Car destroyed. Driver OK. It ran 224mph Friday.

Alleged JFK Ambulance Sold At Barrett-Jackson For: $120,000

Update: Saturday night, after the hammer fell, Tammy Allen purchased the car from the original winner, for an undisclosed price. The car will be on display in her car museum in Grand Junction, Co.

The car is part of the 40th Annual Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale Auction from Jan. 17-23, at WestWorld of Scottsdale.
“The sale of this vehicle has received media attention from around the world. It has also generated considerable dialogue among and interest from Kennedy historians and even enthusiasts dedicated to the preservation and study of historical ambulances.
