The 2012 Dodge Challenger R/T Classic ticks most of the muscle car boxes, but is it one?
The 2012 Challenger is available with three engine choices and several appearance packages, both of which range from mild to wild. Our Blue Streak Pearl tester came equipped with the middle ground 5.7-liter V8 and the optional Classic appearance package. The 5.7-liter Hemi (yes, its got a Hemi) has cylinder deactivation technology, for improved mpg’s, and the Classic appearance package includes a side stripe and gray 20-inch wheels that are styled after the original Challenger wheel.
